The Man Behind the Tradition
Rosario "Ross" Amato, a passionate cook his entire life, has been part of the restaurant industry for over 20 years. He enjoys being able to serve the public at O.I.P. Frackville, where our traditional Italian cuisine is the driving force of the business. "This is a great place for authentic Italian food with the servers being actual Sicilians. The pizza is outstanding but the pasta is awesome. I would have rated it 4 stars due to the casual atmosphere that was not extraordinary but the food and service were phenomenal. This not your average pizza restaurant but a pasta restaurant that serves both Neapolitan (flat) and Sicilian style pizzas. After eating here you would never appreciate an Olive Garden style restaurant again. This is a must for anyone who enjoys good pasta and is in the Frackville area."

"I've enjoyed everything I've tried at OLP but their grilled bruschetta chicken sandwich is my favorite.. They have good food at an affordable price. You can't go wrong if you're in the area. There are not a lot of choices in Frackville but thankfully this one is a keeper. The only down side is that they are closed on Mondays."
